WHAT WE DO
We are an independent advisory firm and placement agent specializing in thematic investment strategies, supporting institutional investors across Europe. With a consistent 50% annual growth in fundraising, our firm promotes private sector fundraising across sectors such as climate change mitigation, biodiversity, sustainable water use, defence/dual-use and the circular economy.
MANAGER SELECTION
We choose our fund managers as carefully as we expect them to choose us. Common values and alignment of interests are central to a successful fundraising campaign, and our investors’ interests always come first. Our mandates are always led by an overarching sustainability objective and our track record shows that when these conditions are met, our investors engage in a successful outcome.
Who we are
Our senior team has a diverse background of experiences across strategic asset allocation, risk management, portfolio construction and implementation. We use our skillsets to support our fund managers in their dialogue with investors and to help them to execute a focussed and successful fundraising strategy. Our culture contributes to seamless teamwork between investors and our fund managers.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Our team adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards, and we act with integrity and respect. We maintain confidentiality, disclose conflicts of interest, and act in fairness. Our vision to do good is reflected in our conduct and we do no harm to the industry we work in. We know that if we serve our partners and investors first, our own success will follow.
Our mission
We transcend traditional placement services, aiming beyond returns to leverage private capital for transformative sustainable investments. At our core, we believe in the transformational power that connecting private capital with sustainable investment opportunities can bring to every aspect of our planet, society and economy. To us, our work is our mission.
OUR PERFORMANCE
Our independent, thematic, and conviction-based approach to manager selection is key to our performance and our success. By engaging early in the fundraising process and limiting our engagements, we thoroughly understand the risk, returns and impact of the funds and direct investments we market. This ensures our investors receive the professionalism, focus, and attention they deserve.
RANKING 10TH GLOBALly
We are thankful for the trust that investors and fundmanagers have put in us since we created our fundraising business a few years ago. We have quickly raised more than 1.6 billion dollars for sustainable infrastructure investments, ranking our firm 10th globally in 2023 by Private Equity International. Worthwhile Capital Partners only focuses on very few mandates at any time and only on investors in European countries where we have deep relationships. Our fundraising is growing by 60% per year and work has so far helped avoid more than 62m tonnes of CO2-emissions. And we only just started.
